Application are invited for one position of Junior Research Fellow @Rs31,000+ 16% HRA pm fixed (35960) provided in the scheme “Development of wine yeast starter inoculum with improved flavor phenotype through metabolic foot printing” CSS-82 (PC-6412), on plain paper along with the detail of qualification, experience, other relevant information and demand draft of Rs.200/- in favour of the Comptroller, PAU, Ludhiana. The complete applications should be reach in the o/o The Head, Department of Microbiology, PAU, Ludhiana by 14.11.2025 at 12.00 noon. The interview of the candidates will be held on 21.11.2025 at 10:00 am in the o/o the undersigned. The candidate must bring all original documents for verification. No separate information for interview will be sent, No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview. The services of the incumbent(s) are liable to be terminated at any time without any notice.

Qualifications:

1. B.Sc in any discipline of Life Sciences with minimum OCPA of 6.00/10.00 basis or 60% marks.

2. M.Sc in Microbiology (with NET) with minimum OCPA of 6.50/10.00 basis or 65% marks.

Note-I : The candidate who does not possess Master’s degree in Microbiology but possesses Ph.D in Microbiology required at Master’s level, shall be eligible for the post.

Note-II: In case the candidate M.Sc with NET is not available, the JRF will be appointed @ Rs.25,000+16% HRA.

Note-III: Desirable Qualification: Experience in fermentation.
