Smt. Gurpreet Kaur, w/o Lakhwinder Singh village Kalyan district Patiala was nominated as a Ministry of Food Processing Industries (MoFPI) beneficiary for World Food India, 2025 from 25-29 Sept., 2025 at Pragati Maidan, New Delhi. She received an exhibition stall in this prestigious event and exhibited her processed products.

Punjab Agricultural University, Ludhiana has also acknowledged the contribution of Gurpreet Kaur by honouring her with Sardarni Jagbir Kaur Memorial Award during Kisan Mela held on 26-27 September, 2025 at PAU, Ludhiana for her exemplary work in Food processing. Dr. Rajni Goel, Prof. (FST), KVK, Patiala shared that she was also selected as Lakhpati Didi from Punjab State by Ministry of Rural Development, Govt. of India. She attended its launch event as invited speaker in New Delhi. Dr. Hardeep Singh Sabhikhi, Deputy Director (Training), PAU-Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Patiala encouraged the entrepreneurial vision and commanded her dedication to diversification through value addition.
